For Sofia for Viola and Piano will be premiered by violist Sofia von Atzingen on December 1st, 2010, on her Graduation Recital at the Federal University of Minas Gerias in Belo Horizonte, Brazil.
Viderunt Omnes for a cappella SATB choir will be premiered at the Society of Composers 2010 National Conference at The University of South Carolina in Columbia, South Carolina by the Colla Voce Ensemble conducted by Larry Wyatt. It will be performed by on November 11th, 2010 at 7:30pm in the Green St. United Methodist Church and a repeat performance will be included as part of Colla Voce's fall concert on November 14th at the Kathwood Baptist Church in Columbia, South Carolina.
To the Writings page, I have added a new essay I have recently written for the CU-Pendulum New Music Blog called The Paradox of Choice, the Myth of Growth, and the Future of Music, as well as the PDF copy of my Senior Music Theory Thesis from Baldwin-Wallace College: The Use of Variation Form in Frederic Rzewski’s The People United Will Never Be Defeated!
Current projects include a Violin and Piano Sonata and a Piano Quintet written for the Tesla Quartet.
